Transcend Software Earns Implementation Partner Award of Excellence
Transcend Software, Inc., the technology arm of Midland Information Resources, has been presented with a Stellent Content Management Implementation Partner Award of Excellence by Fisher Controls (a division of Emerson) at the Stellent World-Wide User’s 
Conference held in Orlando, FL this past October.
The Stellent Content Management System is a powerful end-to-end content Web content management solution that deploys enterprise information quickly, delivers rapid return on investment and is highly scalable. As an Alliance Partner (certified reseller and systems integrator) for the Stellent suite of products, Transcend Software helps clients develop solutions that control and expedite the delivery of information - critical to a daily business operation.
Transcend worked with Fisher Controls to develop and implement over 140 applications within the Stellent Content Management System. These applications include improved report distribution, the deployment of European and Asian content servers, deployment of numerous Intranet and Internet websites, as well as, various custom components to automate and support the overall Emerson lines of business.
Fisher Controls estimates that the deployment of Stellent as their enterprise-wide Content Management Solution has already generated savings of over $2,000,000 to their organization. They have cost reduction goals of $3-$5 million dollars over the next 3 to 5 years and are counting on the Stellent Content Management system to help provide a majority of this savings by automating many of the manual process that are done within their business today.
